Denise Vega's works include the picture book If Your Monster Won't Go to Bed (winner of the Crystal Kite Award) and the middle-grade novels Click Here, Access Denied, and Rock On. Denise served for ten years as a regional advisor for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators; she is also a member of the Author's Guild and the Colorado Author's League. She is on the faculty of the Lighthouse Writers Workshop, works as a mentor for the Regis University MFA in Creative Writing, and is an adjunct faculty member of University College at the University of Denver.
